Ensuring your personal data is safe and accurate
We ensure that your data is kept safely on our systems and have put measures in place to help guard against any accidental loss, destruction or damage of personal data.
We only collect and record data about individuals that is necessary for us to perform our marketing activity and nothing more. As our information is collected from the individuals directly, we assume that this is correct at the time of collection and offer provision for our data subjects to update their details at any time if the information held becomes inaccurate (see below ‘Rights of the Data Subject’).

Madlug Foundation will never share its customers or potential customer’s data with any other businesses, individuals outside of our company or any third parties.
Retaining Information
We will hold data on individuals who have subscribed to our marketing publications until we are directed otherwise by the Data Subject (customer or potential customer). A link will be provided in each email we send, giving our subscribers the option to unsubscribe. Once an unsubscribe request has been received, the Data Subjects details will remain on our system for 30 days to allow us to run analytics or reporting. After this time, the Data Subject’s details will be deleted completely from our database.

When you unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link provided in our footers, we will no longer send you emails. However, your record will remain in our database for 30 days. This allows us to generate reports on why an unsubscribe has occurred, to help us to get our communications right for other subscribers. After this time, your record will be completely deleted from our system.
